The Maya verb chocola'j describes the sweet delight of drinking chocolate together.
THE SPIRIT OF CACAO
We acknowledge Cacao as a teacher, a keeper of ancient, sacred wisdom and recognise the Spirit of the plant (the energy behind the form) as radiant energy. For us, Cacao is intelligent and we address her like a friend and lovingly call her Mama Cacao and the Cacao Mother. Cacao's energy can feel like an elderly, feminine force, warm and embracing, like a balm for the soul, yet powerfully mediating between Earth and Cosmos. We love Cacao.
We will drink a cup of chocolate together, bring our hearts in one beat and rhythm, and invite Mama Cacao, the Nature Spirits, and the elements into our circle. Journey with the Spirit of Cacao into the depths of the earth and open your consciousness into all that is. In a guided meditation you will be invited to explore your inner landscape, realign your energetic system and create a loving space. Connect with the invisible harmony, wherever you are.
According to the ancient European wheel of the year, we have arrived at the time between Autumn Equinox and Samhain. Here in the Northern hemisphere, we are invited to honour and give thanks for what we have harvested and to share the bounty of Summer with beloved ones. It's the season of giving thanks. Whatever you have planted and grown over summer, powerful forces were involved - all elements, the sun, the stars, the spirits of nature, plant and animal spirits - whether you have tended to a physical garden or the inner landscape.
In a Gratitude Ceremony we acknowledge what we have received and harvested in abundance. Prepare an offering to Pachamama - a plate with sweets or milk, flowers, seeds, a pouch with tobacco. Set the intention to give thanks to the living world and any other aspect that you are grateful for. In Ceremony, we bless our offerings with prayers. Then bring your offering outside and place it in the garden or at the trunk of a tree.
In a couple of days, we will enter the darker half of the year, beginning with Samhain, which marks the Celtic New Year celebration. This will be the time to sit with the ancestors in darkness and negotiate the terms for the upcoming season. We will pray for the light ahead and bless our seeds for Imbolc to be seeded into this reality and harvested in abundance. This is the beauty and wisdom of the turning wheel.
The zoom link will be sent to you upon registration through our educational platform elopage. Please check your 'others' folder. On the day of the ceremony we will send you an email with all information again at 5.30 pm.
Plant vibration is subtle. You can tune in very nicely by eating a vegetarian or even vegan diet for a few days and avoiding alcohol, dairy products and heavy foods.
The day of the Ceremony it is nice to refrain from coffee for once, and not to eat two hours before the ceremony.

Serap is a Medicine Woman, earth guardian, teacher and the founder of Cacao Mama and the Earth School. Serap's journey into reconnecting with Spirit was initiated by a spiritual encounter with the Spirit of Cacao in 2011. Golden Cacao has been Cacao Mama's mission since the founding in Spring 2014 and she has helped to open the consciousness for the Spirit across the borders of Europe.
Serap's medicine heart beats in rhythm with Mother Earth. She loves to weave finely tuned healing experiences to reconnect space with the invisible harmony that surrounds us. She shared space with people from all over the world and all walks of life in hundreds of ceremonies, medicine circles and learning experiences. She loves to create finely tuned spaces to root into trust and receive permission, so that people may remember their natural state of Spirit connection and the way of ceremony.
Born with Anatolian roots in Germany, Serap has studied energetic healing with Mari Nil, Andean Wisdom with Puma Fredy Singona, Earth Keeping with the Teyuna Mamos from Colombia and is inspired by earth based wisdom from around the globe. Her work with cacao is shamanic in nature and focuses on the stellar and cosmic energies of the earth. In this connection a gentle and powerful opportunity opens up, whereby we can touch magic beyond understanding.
